In November, I offered a workshop as part of the Call to Art Un-Conference! My workshop focused on printmaking techniques that can be adapted for at home learning or in the classroom on a tight budget. In this workshop, I shared several methods that you can use whether you’re teaching online or in person. Participants discovered common pitfalls and how to address them. I encouraged viewers to follow along and make their own prints with me or simply watch and learn. In addition to techniques, I shared inspirational artists I connect to my lessons with a focus on living women and Black, Indigenous, and artists of color. My workshop covered 7 printmaking methods and encouraged hands-on participation.
