Artist Statement:
Interior, personal spaces have been the subject of my recent work. What someone keeps in their space is a direct reflection of their interests and passions. A person is allowed to be who they are without fear of judgment or acceptance. It’s a very special moment when someone invites you into their own personal sanctuary. The significance of which is often lost to a million other social scenarios. It’s important for everyone to have a space where they feel completely comfortable to express who they really are. In today’s society we often have to wear many different hats or play some sort of character of ourselves.
